As an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, I’m trained to assess how well an organisation’s quality management system really works in practice – not just whether the paperwork is in place. Lead Auditor training focuses on planning, conducting and reporting first, second and third-party audits against ISO 9001, including how to evaluate risks, identify non-conformities, test the effectiveness of corrective actions and lead an audit team (DNV, 9001Simplified).

This means I’m skilled at looking beneath the surface of processes to understand whether they are truly capable, consistent and aligned to customer and regulatory requirements. I know how to use evidence, data and questioning to uncover root causes rather than symptoms, and how to translate audit findings into practical, value-adding improvements.
